This page contains links to PDF files containing music for the 2010 National Folk Festival Fiddle Rally. All files are now uploaded, if you have difficulties please let us know but try again later, it might just be the site is slow... At the moment it is expected that practices will be held in the Session Bar at 3:30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The final performance is likely to be at the same time as 2009 on the Monday morning. We will notify you as soon as rehearsals and performances are scheduled. All fiddlers are very welcome. In 2009 we had roughly 60+ fiddlers (and others) on stage as you can see in the photo above! There is no Festival theme this year and our conductor for 2010, Emma Nixon, has selected tunes sets that cover a wide range of fiddle styles. Contemporary tunes include "The Whisky Club" by Rhiannon Fenn (BSFC) and a set of tunes from the MSFC that won a Golden Fiddle Award at this year's Tamworth Festival for best original tunes.

Added Sets 1, 2, 4, 6, 11 & 12 on 28th Jan

Added Sets 3, 5, 7, 8 & 9 on 29th Jan

Added Set 10 on 30th Jan

The table below shows the set names and included tunes that are on the programme. Midi files containing the tunes as they are likely to be played are linked to the graphic in the Midi column. This is primarily to help provide some idea of the speed and structure of each set but actual dynamics are limitied to the structure of Midi and some variation will occur. PDF files containing the sheet music of the set are available in the PDF column and can be printed at any time through Adobe Reader.
