We have been fortunate again to be selected to organise the 2006 Fiddle Rally at the National Folk Festival in Canberra this next Easter.

In keeping with the Festival focus on Queensland and in particular some of the European settlements that occurred during the history of the State the programme is being selected from a range of tunes with links to other (non-Scottish) cultures and locations. If you have any suggestions please do not hestitate to email either Trish (trish@) or myself (tim@) at scottishfiddlers.com.

The programme is currently being planned and as soon as we have details of music and more details on the Festival etc we will be placing these details on this website. It is planned to have all the music for the various sessions and programmes in PDF format located here with links below. This should be complete by at least the month before the festival (hopefully before). You are welcome to download this music and practise prior to the Festival to give you a chance to arrive prepared. We also intend to include some slow and normal speed recordings of the music to help.

Check the programme when you arrive at the Festival to ensure you don't miss out on the various practises we are planning.
